Frameless Shower Screen

As the name suggests, a frameless shower screen has no metal frame around its edges. Because a frameless glass shower screen is made using toughened glass there is no need for a frame. Folding shower screens are also available - with the advantage being that they fold right out of the way, giving better access to your bath.

Walk in shower screens are one of our most elegant shower solutions. These usually feature a fixed shower screen which appears almost weightless as they rise from the floor to reach the full height of your shower area. The absence of a shower door adds to the minimal effect.

Walk in showers are designed either with or without a shower tray. The most minimal shower design can also be called a wet room. Instead of a shower tray, wet room showers usually have a tiled floor which continues seamlessly from the area outside of the shower. The floor gently slopes towards a drain which is built into the floor.

The purpose of a wet room screen or walk in shower screen is to stop water splashing outside the shower area and keep in heat, whilst appearing almost invisible.

Shower Doors

Shower doors are generally used if you have a cubicle style shower. Shower doors are slightly more traditional and can be a great solution for a medium sized bathroom. A shower door can either comprise a hinged glass door or a folding shower screen. The shower door gives you access to walk into the shower cubicle whilst also forming a watertight seal to stop any water escaping from the shower area.
